The Veterinary Clinic & Specialty Pet Boarding is a new Veterinary Clinic opened in 2008 to complement and enhance an existing Pet Boarding facility.
The facility is owned and operated by Dr. Alfred Benjamin and family. He is a Veterinary Surgeon who was the Chief Agricultural and Veterinary Officer and the Head of the Department of Agriculture, for approximately twenty years and has now retired from government service.
The Clinic offers general medicine & surgery, dental care and emergency services catering to a variety of small animals including dogs, cats, pocket pets & caged birds.
The Pet Boarding facility, under the new management & ownership, offers the services of an on-site veterinarian who can give comprehensive and specialty Veterinary care to your pet while they are boarding.
Dogs, cats, pocket pets (i.e. hamsters, gerbils, rabbits) and birds are welcomed. The facility is air-conditioned with large windows which offer your boarded pets access to sight seeing.
Dogs are walked twice daily with any special requests or needs taken into consideration. Pets when boarded receive a great amount of socialization from staff, and additionally from young family members that care for and play with them.
They are also fed highly nutritious and palatable meals of Eukanuba (dogs) and Science Diet (cats); however owners may bring their own food if they so desire. Owners may also bring small toys or bedding that their pets are used to, in order to increase their comfort while boarding.
